We Have An Exciting Way to Connect with Those With Answers & Success Stories
I am looking forward to seeing you at the CNG December 6th Quarterly Meeting. As program chair for the meeting, I have exciting news for you and I need you to do a small favor for me-and for yourself.
The way we are building the content for the meeting is with an experiment creating a community network. We are using a tool called Haystack to establish connections between members of our group. Prior to coming to the meeting, we would like you to complete an online profile. We will use this profile to help connect members with similar goals for marketing issues and topics, which we will feature at the meeting.
This profile will connect you with others who have similar personal and business interests. For example: Wouldn't it be nice to find others who have extensive experience using marketing methods you are considering adopting, or experience to achieve better than normal growth for your certification business?
This is just an experiment; this information will not be shared outside the members or the group and participants at the December meeting. Share as much or little information as you would like, the most important component is completing the tags, which is explained below. That's the really neat part that helps us match up the those seeking information with those who have the success stories and best examples.

Your username is your email address.
Passwords have been automatically generated. Your initial password is "pass_name", where " name" is the first part of your email address. So, for example, if your email address was "bwilson@xyzcert.org," your password would be "pass_bwilson".
Completing your profile consists of two steps:
1) After logging in, select Edit my profile near the top of the page
- Complete relevant profile info (location, phone, biographical information, photo, whatever you want to share)
- Enter new password
- Confirm password
- Click Submit
2) Select Edit My Tags near the top of the page (please be sure to add tags)
- Add tags for each Category
- You can use existing tags before creating a new one by selecting: Open other tags in organization
- Tags must be added 1 at a time (add a tag, and press the "Add" button)
- These are the key words that you use to identify things you have in common with others in the certification industry. There are no limits to what you want to find out or share. Go for it!
