Success Stories and Round Table Discussions. The December 5th meeting on Social Media and Certification Growth stirred up a lot of conversation and questions. Great meeting! The meeting before that, on September 19th, stirred up conversation, excitement and requests from CNG members to go further with the Top Issues of Certification Professionals (issues that got the most votes at the September meeting).
CNG members will showcase their success stories from 2007. Brian Finnegan, Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA), will present his story of "full-blown certification" start up and roll out in less than 12 months, using a blend of social media and traditional trust-building and marketing systems to gain support, rapidly.
Round table discussions will drill down further with the topics that got the most votes in September, specifically,
-
Finding and understanding best practices.
-
Accreditation--what is the value and business case for getting your certification program accredited?
-
Managing examinations and resolving conflicting goals of various parties involved.
-
Legal and management problems, including staff recruitment, ADA requirements, etc.
-
Succeeding in business and marketing. What are all measures of success for a certification program?
-
Starting a certification program.
-
Personal growth and fulfillment in certification.
