The September 19, 2007 CNG meeting will be dedicated to identifying the most important, most pressing and most difficult questions facing our members and certification industry today!

Facing the 800 Pound Gorilla - Together

We all have issues that we would rather not deal with - questions we would like to ask, but have been afraid to. Now is your chance to get these questions out in the open so we can face them together!

Working With Your Peers

In lieu of an invited speaker, and in the truest sense and spirit of the CNG, we will spend our meeting time working together to root out the tough questions.

To facilitate this discovery process, we have invited leaders from the major associations involved in the community, including NOCA, ANSI and ASAE as well as other experts in the various aspects of the certification & standards industries to facilitate round table discussions through which we will formulate the most pressing questions in such areas as:

Accessing and understanding best practices and accreditation
Managing examinations
Dealing with legal and management problems
Succeeding in business and marketing
Starting a certification program
Achieving personal growth and fulfillment in certification

Select whichever subject is most interesting to you and work with others in the industry to really push the envelope to find those hard questions.

Questions First, then Answers

This session will not provide quick answers; in fact, it will not provide any answers. But once we have the questions, we will have an agenda to start working together to find the answers. This is mentally challenging, to dig really deep under the first question to find the question behind the question. Can you do it? Can you hold back blurting out answers and help others in the group open up and participate fully?

Everyone at the Sept. 19th meeting gets to vote on the toughest, hairy questions. The most critical questions will become the focus for a Special November CNG Meeting. Other questions will addressed through future CNG meetings or in other forums.

This promises to be our most challenging, important and trend-setting meeting yet. Essentially, since YOU are the speaker and the one with the questions others need to hear, you need to clear your appointment calendar for this CNG Meeting! After all, YOU are the speaker and we’re expecting you.
