CNG Friends,

For those of you who were not able to attend the June CNG meeting, you really missed an outstanding event. Kevin Wharton’s presentation on data mining was excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed his very pertinent subject matter and his presentation style. Thanks for Kevin for a great job!

The meeting facility, compliments of ANCC, was very good as usual and we had a strong turnout of approximately 80 people. It was really nice to see so many old friends and to make some new acquaintances.

I had the privilege of introducing Atvantus to the group as a first time sponsor and to show the attendees some of the leading-edge test development work that we are engaged in. The response was fantastic! It was very reassuring to see people’s eyes light up when they saw how today’s tests can be so much more robust and interesting than the traditional multiple choice exams of old. We, as testing people, should be excited about our product and the change to produce high-fidelity, high-quality tests!

As promised in the meeting, I have forwarded the PowerPoint slides video that I presented to the CNG web site. The video is too large to post there, but if you are interested I will send you a copy of that as well. Let me know if you want to receive a copy of that.
